Edition 2025 — Piangozza Festival

In the summer of 2025, the Piangozza Festival returned to Caramanico Terme as part of the Caramanico d'Estate calendar, standing out as one of the must-attend culinary events in the Maiella village. Organized by the Pro Loco, the festival celebrated piangozza in mid-August, the traditional Abruzzese handmade pasta served with sauce and local wine, amidst food stalls, music, and tradition along the streets of the historic center and Viale Fontegrande.

The 2025 edition of the Piangozza Festival took place in mid-August in Caramanico Terme, in the province of Pescara, as part of the rich Caramanico d'Estate 2025 program which, from June to September, enlivened the Maiella village with concerts, craft markets, patronal feasts, and events in the Botanical Garden.

Promoted by the Pro Loco of Caramanico Terme, the festival featured the iconic dish of local tradition: piangozza, homemade pasta in the shape of maltagliati, dressed with Abruzzese sauce and accompanied by local wine. The evening, held between Viale Fontegrande and the historic center, combined taste, music, and conviviality, confirming the event as one of the most beloved culinary festivals of the Caramanico summer.
