Foundation Festival 2025 — "Hora Estate 2025"

The 2025 edition of the Piana degli Albanesi Foundation Festival, included in the "Hora Estate 2025" calendar, confirmed the well-established late-August appointment dedicated to the memory and identity of the most important Arbëreshë community in Sicily, in the province of Palermo.

Following in the footsteps of previous editions, the event focused on the Sheshi district, which has become an open-air museum thanks to the murals of the Bashkë Urban Art project, featuring guided tours, performances, children's workshops, exhibitions on Arbëreshë identity, and culinary trails with local products. The celebrations concluded on August 30, the anniversary of the 1488 founding, renewing the tribute to the hero George Castriot Skanderbeg, a symbol of the community.
