Edition 2025 — Shallot Festival

The tenth edition of the Piacentino Shallot Festival took place from September 4th to 7th, 2025, in Piazza del Comune, Castelvetro Piacentino. Four evenings of shallot-based food stands, opening from 7 PM, and shows starting at 9:30 PM: live music, comedy, ballroom dancing with an orchestra, and Sunday's cooking demonstration with chef Daniele Persegani, a native of Castelvetro. This edition saw a large turnout, confirming the growing success of the event.

Tenth Edition 2025

The tenth Piacentino Shallot Festival was held from September 4th to 7th, 2025, in Piazza del Comune in Castelvetro Piacentino, province of Piacenza. The Pro Loco's food stands opened every evening from 7 PM, offering traditional shallot-based dishes.

Among the evening's events: live music by the Dejavu Band, comedy performances, ballroom dancing with an orchestra, and on Sunday, the cooking demonstration by chef Daniele Persegani, a local native. The edition filled the square from the first evening, confirming the shallot as the signature product of the Piacenza region.
