Edition 2025 — Pfolzna Kirschta
Pfolzna Kirschta 2025
The 2025 edition of the Pfolzna Kirschta took place over a weekend in October in Falzes/Pfalzen, in the Puster Valley (South Tyrol). On Saturday, the village hosted the traditional market with stalls featuring local products and handicrafts, as well as the evocative Almabtrieb cattle drive, with herds decorated for the occasion returning to the valley after the summer season in high-altitude pastures. Throughout the day, food stands offered authentic South Tyrolean cuisine.
On Sunday, the festivities continued with the customary concert by the Musikkapelle Pfalzen, the village brass band. The event was managed, as per tradition, by the Schützenkompanie Sichelburg Pfalzen, which renews this autumn appointment every year, making it one of the most heartfelt events in the Kronplatz/Plan de Corones area.
