Pfoffagonder Tuifl Saint Nicholas and Krampus Parade

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Pfoffagonder Tuifl Saint Nicholas and Krampus Parade took place on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in Kastelbell-Tschars, in the Vinschgau Valley. The parade started at 6:30 PM from the church square of Marein (Kirchplatz Marein) and crossed the village to the main square and the music pavilion, where Saint Nicholas handed out gifts to the children.

In the afternoon, from 3:00 PM, free horse-drawn carriage rides were offered in the square, while gift vouchers could be collected at selected local businesses (Weinsalon Seeber, Gemischtwaren Gstrein Doris, Naves Kastelbell). Food and drink stalls with hot refreshments were also available. The following day, December 5th, the Tschars Rural Youth organized their own traditional procession.
