Edition 2025 — Pezza de Casce

In 2025, the Pezza de Casce once again enlivened the Carnival of Vinchiaturo with the traditional cheese wheel race, organized by the Pro Loco along the historic center route, between the Church of Santa Croce and Casa Jacampo.

In 2025, the Pezza de Casce confirmed its place among the most cherished traditions of the Carnival of Vinchiaturo, in the province of Campobasso. The teams competed by rolling the cheese wheel along the historic center route, accompanied by the popular cry "j'è ceca!".

The event, curated by Pro Loco Vinchiaturo, renewed a historical game that connects the community to its peasant heritage.
