Pettolata at the Museum 2025
The 29th edition of the Pettolata at the Museum was held on Monday, December 8, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM, at the Museum of Arts and Traditions of Puglia on Via Santa Margherita in Latiano. On the day of the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, the Pro Loco of Latiano renewed the tradition of pettole, the water-and-flour fritters fried in local oil, served for tasting alongside wine.
The evening combined flavor and culture: the tastings were accompanied by guided tours of the ethnographic museum's rooms and the sounds of Salento folk music, featuring traditional pizzica, stornelli, and serenades. A highly attended event with free admission that officially ushered in the Christmas atmosphere in Latiano.
