Edition 2025 — Pettola and Panzerotto Festival

The 2025 edition took place on December 12th and 13th in Piazza Cavour, in front of the San Gioacchino parish. Friday the 12th featured the lighting of the bonfire and pettole tasting; Saturday the 13th, the day of Saint Lucy, included Holy Masses, panzerotti tasting around the fire, and musical entertainment. Free admission, organized by the San Gioacchino Parish with the patronage of the Municipality of Terlizzi.

The 2025 Feast of Saint Lucy enlivened Piazza Cavour on the evenings of December 12th and 13th. On Friday the 12th, the community gathered around the bonfire lit in front of the San Gioacchino parish, with the Eucharistic celebration presided over by Bishop Domenico Cornacchia and the tasting of pettole. On Saturday the 13th, the day of the liturgical feast, morning Holy Masses were followed by an evening celebration and the tasting of panzerotti around the fire. The evening was accompanied by musical entertainment with Costantino Colasanto and the Fantasy Jazz group. The event, with free admission, was organized by the San Gioacchino Parish with the patronage of the Municipality of Terlizzi, effectively opening the city's Christmas festivities.

Programme

Friday, December 12: lighting of the bonfire and Eucharistic celebration in Piazza Cavour, pettole tasting. Saturday, December 13: Holy Masses in the morning and evening celebration in the San Gioacchino parish, panzerotti tasting around the bonfire, musical entertainment with Costantino Colasanto and the Fantasy Jazz group.
