Petrosino Carnival

The 2025 Petrosino Carnival was held from 1 to 4 March, confirming its status as one of the most anticipated winter events in the Trapani area. The stars of the show were the five allegorical floats made of papier-mâché by local associations — including Gruppo Musa, La Rinascita, Attacaticci, Trinacria, i Ragazzi di Petrosao, Bollicine & Follie, and I Mitici — inspired by themes ranging from the world of cartoons (a float dedicated to Pixar's "Coco") to Greek mythological deities.

Key highlights included the traditional float parades, the Children's Carnival at the Polivalente Centre, performances by the comedy duo Trikke e Due Cabaret, DJ sets in Piazza della Repubblica, and a concert by the Sicilian band Shakalab featuring DJ Yanez on the evening of 3 March. Throughout the event, the funfair and the food and wine stands of the Via del Gusto were active along Viale Giacomo Licari and in Piazza della Repubblica.
