Edition 2025 — Pescocostanzo Christmas Markets

In December 2025, Pescocostanzo hosted its Christmas Markets in the historic center, between the usual two opening windows in the middle of the month and the days leading up to Christmas. Artisan stalls, local products, festive lights, and nativity scenes enlivened one of Italy's most beautiful villages, also accessible via the historic Ferrovia dei Parchi train towards the snow-covered villages of the Alto Sangro.

The 2025 Christmas Markets in Pescocostanzo

In 2025, the village of Pescocostanzo (AQ) once again renewed its appointment with the Christmas Markets, spread across the historic center and Piazza Municipio during the days of December. Among the stalls, there was no shortage of bobbin lace, wrought iron works, and the village's typical jewelry, along with mountain gastronomic products.

The paved streets, illuminated by festive lights and enriched by nativity scenes, welcomed residents and visitors in a festive atmosphere made even more evocative by the snowy landscape of the Abruzzo Apennines. During the same period, the village was included among the destinations of the Transiberiana d'Italia historic train, which connects Sulmona to the villages of the Alto Sangro during the winter season.
