Edition 2025 — Pesa Vegia

The 419th edition of the Pesa Vegia animated Bellano on January 5, 2025, attracting thousands of visitors to Lake Como. Living nativity scene, hauling of the 'Pese', arrival of the Spanish Messengers, and reading of the Benevolent Ordinance marked a night of re-enactment and tradition.

The 2025 edition of the Pesa Vegia confirmed the strong appeal of one of Lombardy's oldest popular events. The historic center of Bellano transformed into an open-air theater, with costumed figures, period settings, and the rituals that have marked the festival for over four centuries.

Thousands of people witnessed the hauling of the 'Pese', the arrival of the Spanish Messengers' Gondola with fireworks on the lake, and the reading of the Benevolent Ordinance, reaffirming the deep connection between Bellano, on Lake Como, and its most iconic tradition.
