Pertengo Carnival Bean Stew – Borghi in Maschera

The 2025 edition of the Pertengo bean stew confirmed the structure of the traditional festival, with a program that intertwined religious, civil, and social dimensions.

The morning opened in the church with mass and the participation of the local Partanghin and Partanghina masks. This was followed by the handing over of the town keys by the mayor to the masks at the town hall. The festival concluded with the distribution of the bean stew in Piazza Silvio Piola, for a voluntary donation, with guests invited to bring their own containers. The president of the Comitato Pertengo e i suoi Eventi highlighted the commitment to preserving a tradition that has been successfully revived and is very dear to the village.
