Edition 2025 — Perosi Festival

The ninth edition of the Perosi Festival, dedicated to the Jubilee theme, offered a series of concerts in Tortona, ranging from summer previews to a rich autumn cycle of sacred music. Promoted by the Diocese of Tortona with the support of banking foundations, the 2025 edition celebrated the Jubilee Year with major works from the classical and Perosian repertoire, all with free admission in the Cathedral and city churches.

Perosi Festival 2025: The Jubilee in Music

The ninth edition of the Perosi Festival focused on the theme of the Jubilee, with a program spread throughout the year. The summer previews opened on June 15, 2025, in the Chapel of the Episcopal Seminary, continuing in July in the courtyard of the Diocesan Seminary.

The autumn cycle in the Cathedral offered some of the highest moments: on November 16, a concert dedicated to the masters of the European Baroque (Bach, Torelli, Vivaldi), and on December 7, the return of the oratorio Il Natale del Redentore by Lorenzo Perosi, thirty years after its last performance in the Cathedral conducted by Gianandrea Gavazzeni. The festival then extended into January 2026 with the concert "Sacred Music between Tortona and Genoa". All events, promoted by the Diocese of Tortona, were free of charge.
