Periferico Festival

The 2025 edition of the Periferico Festival confirmed the festival's vocation to bring theatre to the Piagge district, on the outskirts of Florence. The programme featured seven titles, with tributes to great cultural figures such as Dario Fo, Franca Rame, Rosa Balistreri, and the sculptor Arturo Martini. Among the most appreciated performances were A nanna dopo Carosello by Clara Costanzo and L'imbarazzo dell'infinito by Marco Pasquinucci, an immersive theatre show inspired by a story by Isaac Asimov. The festival closed with a recital dedicated to Federico García Lorca, Il mio bacio era un melograno, with Caterina Casini and Massimiliano Auci. All events were free, confirming the cultural accessibility mission of the festival organized by Teatri d'Imbarco for the Estate Fiorentina.
