Edition 2025 — Periferica

The second edition of Periferica, titled "A Look Beyond Borders," took place from 24 October to 29 November 2025 at the Gabriella Ferri Cultural Centre in Rome. A month of free concerts directed by Alessandra Evangelisti and Stefano Cioffi, featuring Roman folk, blues, Mediterranean sounds, and jazz, along with musical workshops for children and teenagers promoted by the Accademia Italiana del Flauto.

Periferica 2025 — A Look Beyond Borders

The second edition of Periferica chose to root itself in a single location, the Gabriella Ferri Cultural Centre in Rome's Fourth Municipality, for a month of free live music. The theme "A Look Beyond Borders" guided a programme that brought different genres and traditions into dialogue.

  • 24 October — "Rome / New Orleans – Round Trip" by and with Max Paiella, exploring Roman folk and Mississippi blues;
  • 7 November — "Mothers of Europe", written and performed by Alessandra Evangelisti with music by Serena Sansoni;
  • 14 November — "Mediterranean Sounds" with Stefano Saletti, Barbara Eramo, and the Baobab Ensemble;
  • 28 November — "Gez Cleb – Roma Caput Jazz" with Jonis Bascir and the guitar of Fabio Zeppetella.

Alongside the evening concerts, "Radio Periferica" offered interactive concerts for children and a series of morning workshops on percussion, creative music, and writing for children and teenagers. The initiative, carried out with the support of the Fourth Municipality, confirmed the festival's vocation as a cultural hub for the Roman suburbs.
