Performare Festival 2025: "Corpo Universo"

The seventh edition of the Performare Festival was held in 2025 in Serradifalco and the nearby town of Montedoro, in the province of Caltanissetta, with the theme "Corpo Universo": the body understood as a point of origin, living memory, and tool for creative expression.

The festival was divided into a preview from July 26 to 31 and a main program from September 1 to 6. It featured 15 performances, including 6 premieres, previews, and exclusive events, with over 30 national and international artists, 4 workshops, 3 creative residencies, and 8 venues, including the Teatro Comunale Antonio De Curtis, the Villa Comunale, and numerous unconventional urban spaces.

Participating artists included Balletto Civile/Giulia Spattini, Silvia Gribaudi, Fattoria Vittadini/Maura Di Vietri, Andrea Rampazzo, Nicola Simone Cisternino, Agostina D'Alessandro, Giovanna Velardi, and the SicilyMade Collective itself. The artistic direction of Simona Miraglia and Amalia Borsellino confirmed the festival's commitment to uniting choreographic research with community participation.
