Edition 2025 — Pera Spadona Festival
The 64th edition of the Pera Spadona Festival took place from July 11 to 13, 2025, in Castel Madama, Lazio. As per tradition, the Aniene Valley village dedicated three days to its rare fruit, featuring food stalls, tastings, folk music, traditional dances, and embroidery exhibitions at Orsini Castle.
In 2025, the Pera Spadona Festival celebrated its 64th edition in Castel Madama, confirming the summer appointment with the territory's iconic fruit. Between Piazza Dante and Orsini Castle, the public was able to sample traditional dishes, discover local embroidery and lace, and get involved in folk music and Saltarello dances. Organized by the Pro Loco, the event reaffirmed the deep bond between the Aniene village and its Pera Spadona, a traditional agri-food product of Lazio.
