Pellegrinaggio a piedi Macerata-Loreto

The 47th edition of the Macerata-Loreto Pilgrimage on foot was held on the night between Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15, 2025, departing from the Villa Potenza Fair Centre in Macerata. The chosen theme, "Where do you live?", echoed the Jubilee motto of the Holy Year 2025, "Pilgrims of hope." The opening Holy Mass was presided over by Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints. This edition also saw the presence of Msgr. Giancarlo Vecerrica, founder of the pilgrimage in 1978 and its long-time animator. Tens of thousands of pilgrims walked the 28 kilometres to the Basilica of the Holy House of Loreto, in the Province of Ancona.
