Edition 2025 — Pecorino & Pecorini

The 16th edition of Pecorino & Pecorini took place in Farindola from Friday, August 8 to Sunday, August 10, 2025, attracting visitors from all over Italy. For three evenings, the historic center hosted the tasting trail of the Slow Food Presidium Pecorino di Farindola, spread across four squares with dairies from the Consortium, sommeliers for wine pairings, and live music from 9:30 PM.

Pecorino & Pecorini 2025 — 16th edition

From August 8 to 10, 2025, Farindola celebrated the sixteenth edition of Pecorino & Pecorini, organized by the La Zanzara Cultural Association. The historic center of the village, at the foot of the Gran Sasso, hosted the traditional gourmet trail across four squares, featuring tastings of the Slow Food Presidium Pecorino di Farindola, pairings with wines from over twenty Abruzzo wineries curated by sommeliers, and live music evenings. Honey, oil, bread, and chocolate were also available to complete the offering, in a three-day celebration of flavors and tradition that confirmed the event as a key gastronomic highlight of the summer in the province of Pescara.
