Edition 2025 — Pecora alla Callara Festival

The seventh edition of the Pecora alla Callara Festival took place in Celenza sul Trigno on the evenings of August 10 and 11, 2025, in Piazza Mazzini, in the heart of the historic center. Organized by the Pro Loco Coelentia, the festival featured mutton stew cooked in copper cauldrons accompanied by typical side dishes, with evenings animated by music and karaoke for all ages.

A summer dedicated to tradition

The 2025 edition of the Pecora alla Callara Festival brought Celenza sul Trigno to life on August 10 and 11, in Piazza Mazzini. The Pro Loco Coelentia served 'pecora alla callara' along with tomato salad, 'turtarelle', and watermelon, with stalls opening from 8:00 PM.

The evenings were accompanied by music and karaoke, in a festive setting that drew residents and visitors to the historic center of the Alto Vastese village, confirming the event as one of the most cherished gastronomic moments of the summer in Celenza.
