Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Gaudentius
The 2025 edition of the feast of Saint Gaudentius enlivened Esmate from August 2nd to 4th. The evenings featured the flavors of Bergamascan tradition — capù and polenta on Friday, taragna polenta with sausage on Saturday, wild boar stew on Sunday — accompanied by live music, tombola, and the "Priest's Package." On Sunday, August 4th, the 9:30 AM Mass led by the local choir and the procession with the saint's statue through the village streets marked the patronal feast of the hamlet, on the Upper Lake Iseo.
