The 2025 celebrations
In 2025, the September patronal festivals in Casali d'Aschi, a hamlet of Gioia dei Marsi (AQ), were spread over several days. On September 20th, the Feast of the Cross was held, starting in the morning. September 21st was the day of the actual patronal feast, dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows. September 22nd featured the Alpini Mass at the Borgo di Sperone. The celebrations were part of the summer program of Gioia dei Marsi, which included a total of 64 events covering culture, music, and nature during the 2025 season.
