Patronal Festival of Saint Cassian and La Badoche in La Salle

The 2025 edition of the patronal festival of Saint Cassian took place in La Salle from August 11 to 13, 2025. As per centuries-old tradition, the village of Valdigne experienced three days of festivities marked by La Badoche, the characteristic parade of unmarried youths in traditional costume accompanied by accordions, palet tournaments, traditional dinners featuring agnolotti and cheeses, and square dances. The festival concluded, as every year, with the charity auction late in the evening, a moment of strong cohesion for the entire community at the foot of Mont Blanc.
