Edition 2025 — Feast of Mercy

In 2025, Savona also celebrated its patron saint, Our Lady of Mercy, with the triduum, the torchlight vigil, and the solemn procession on March 18th from the Cathedral to the Sanctuary. The city renewed the tradition of the 'balunetti', illuminating windows and balconies in honor of the Madonna.

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Mercy confirmed the deep bond between Savona and its patron saint. Between the preparation triduum, the vigil with the torchlight procession, and the solemn procession on March 18th from the Cathedral to the Sanctuary, the city experienced days of intense devotion. The tradition of the 'balunetti' in the windows illuminated Savona, renewing one of the most identity-forming rituals of the provincial capital.
