Edition 2025 — Most Holy Crucifix Feast
The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of the Most Holy Crucifix took place in Giardinello in August, continuing the tradition that makes this event the most cherished feast of the year for the small town in the Province of Palermo.
The festivities alternated between the religious dimension—Eucharistic celebrations in the Mother Church and the solemn procession of the Crucifix through the streets of the historic center—and moments of popular celebration, with a brass band, artistic lighting, market stalls, and local products. The participation of the community, enriched by the return of numerous emigrants and the presence of visitors from neighboring towns, confirmed the identity value of a tradition passed down from generation to generation in the heart of Sicily's small villages.
