Patronal Feast of the Madonna del Buon Consiglio (Venere dei Marsi)

The 2025 edition

In 2025, the village of Venere dei Marsi, in the Municipality of Pescina (AQ), renewed its devotion to its patron saint, the Madonna del Buon Consiglio, with festivities concentrated, as per tradition, around the second Sunday of September. The heart of the celebration was the solemn procession with the statue of the Madonna through the streets of the village, accompanied by rites in the sanctuary, the band, and social moments in the square.

The edition was managed by the Venere 2025 Festival Committee, which is particularly active in community life: in April of the same year, the committee donated a defibrillator to the citizens, confirming its role in caring for the town beyond the organization of the patronal feast. An event that reaffirmed the strong identity bond of the Marsica village with its tradition.
