Patronal Feast of the Blessed Virgin of San Giovanni

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of the Blessed Virgin of San Giovanni confirmed the formula that has for years combined devotion and popular celebration in Sommariva del Bosco, in the Roero. The preparatory novena opened the celebrations, which culminated in the solemn masses of the patronal days and the candlelight procession between the sanctuary and the parish church of Saints James and Philip. Alongside the religious rites, the secular program offered street food on Via Cavour, exhibitions, markets, entertainment for children, and the highly anticipated edition of the Trail del Bersaglio, the race through the paths of the Roero, confirming the community's strong bond with the miracle of 1685.
