Edition 2025 — Feast of the Assumption
The Patronal Feast of the Assumption of Mary is the most important event in Lungavilla, a town in the Oltrepò Pavese region of the province of Pavia. In 2025, the town once again celebrated its patroness on August 15th, with the solemnity of the Assumption in the parish church of Saint Mary of the Assumption. On the octave day, August 22nd, the Madonna del Colera was celebrated, in fulfillment of the solemn vow of 1836. The religious celebrations and community gatherings confirmed the strong bond of the Lungavilla community with its patroness and with a centuries-old devotional tradition.
