Patronal Feast of San Felice Martire

On August 8, 2025, the village of Pescocostanzo, in the province of L'Aquila, renewed the centuries-old tradition of the Patronal Feast of San Felice Martire. The day opened in a spirit of devotion with the display of the saint's relics and a solemn mass in the Basilica of Santa Maria del Colle.

In the afternoon, the procession carried the statue of San Felice Martire along the elegant stone streets of the historic center, accompanied by confraternities and the local band, in an atmosphere of intense participation. In the evening, civil festivities enlivened the village with food stalls, local specialties, and music, sealing a day full of religious and social significance for the entire Pescocostanzo community.
