Patronal Feast of Saints Quirico and Giulitta

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Cisternino was held from Thursday, July 31 to Monday, August 4, structured around a triduum of prayer and five days of festivities in the historic center.

Highlights included the round table "The Feast: Faith, Art, and Traditions," the comedy show "Cicí and Cocó" in the Municipal Villa, the parade of the Battitori Nzegna flag-wavers, and the performance of the "G. Ligonzio" Brass Orchestra of Conversano. The Saturday Eucharistic concelebration was presided over by Bishop Giuseppe Favale. Sunday, the day of the patron saints, featured the solemn concelebration in Piazza Garibaldi, the gala procession with civil and military authorities, and the grand fireworks display. The festival concluded on Monday with a thanksgiving Mass and evening concerts, including one by the group Terraross.
