Patronal Feast of Saints Peter the Apostle and Anthony of Padua

The 2025 Edition

From June 28th to 30th, 2025, Miglionico celebrated its patron saints with great participation. The heart of the festival, on June 29th, was the solemn procession and the return of the chariot pulled by six mules, offered for the occasion, which revived one of the practices most cherished by the collective memory of the town. The blessing of the wheat, animated by children and local associations, and the commitment of the San Pietrini group confirmed the festival as a moment of strong cultural identity for the village in the Province of Matera.
