Edition 2025 — Feast of Saints Peter and Paul

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saints Peter and Paul took place in Pescasseroli in late June, with the usual religious and popular program. On June 30th, in particular, the village in the Abruzzo National Park celebrated its patron saints with a solemn mass, a procession through the town streets, the participation of the band, and stalls with local specialties, attracting residents and summer vacationers to one of the most beloved summer destinations in the Apennines.

2025 Patronal Feast in Pescasseroli

In 2025, Pescasseroli once again renewed the tradition of the Patronal Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated in late June in honor of the town's patron saints. The central moment fell around the liturgical day of June 29th, with celebrations continuing until the 30th.

The community gathered at the Church of Saints Peter and Paul for the solemn mass, followed by the procession with the statues of the saints through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the marching band. Festive lights illuminated the square in front of the church, while food stalls offered specialties of Marsican and Abruzzese cuisine. In the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, the festival combined faith, music, and conviviality, confirming itself as a defining event for the inhabitants of Pescasseroli and a draw for numerous summer visitors.
