2025 Edition
On Sunday, June 29th, 2025, the EUR community celebrated the solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul in the Basilica that bears their name, at the highest point of the district, in the Municipality of Rome, Lazio Region. The patronal feast took place according to the parish's tradition, with the solemn Eucharistic celebrations of the day and the participation of the district's faithful.
The anniversary, a public holiday for the city of Rome, also coincides with the anniversary of the consecration of the Basilica (1966) and its elevation to a minor basilica (1967). The great novelty of the procession on the waters of the EUR lake would only arrive in 2026, at the initiative of parish priest Father Luca Atzeni.
