Edition 2025 — Feast of Saints Peter and Paul

In 2025, the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul was held in Galatina from June 27 to 29. The program combined devotion and entertainment: the procession of the statues accompanied by the Noha Band, the re-enactment of the ancient tarantism ritual near the Chapel of Saint Paul, and evening concerts, closing with a fireworks display.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saints Peter and Paul took place in Galatina from June 27 to 29, confirming the blend of popular faith and the culture of tarantism that makes this Salento celebration unique. On June 27, in Piazzetta Galluccio, "Morso Reale," a dance and music show about tarantism by Toni Candeloro, was performed. On June 28, in the atrium of Palazzo Gorgoni, the international conference "Tarantism and Medicine" was held.

On June 29, the feast day of the Patron Saints, in addition to liturgical celebrations and the procession accompanied by the Noha Band, the re-enactment of "The Ancient Ritual of Tarantism" took place at the Chapel of Saint Paul. In the evening, concerts by Michela Borgia, featuring a tribute to Mina, and Talitakum enlivened the squares before the traditional fireworks display that closed the festival.
