Patronal Feast of Saints Leucio, Rocco and Nicola

The 2025 edition of the Villavallelonga Patronal Feast took place from September 1st to 4th, spanning four days dedicated to the three patron saints. On September 1st, liturgical celebrations opened the festivities, accompanied by food stalls and popular entertainment.

September 2nd, the day of Saint Leucio, was the heart of the festival: solemn mass and procession with the saint's statue through the village streets, accompanied by the brass band, while in the Piazza San Francesco area, the Marcialonga del Cerbiatto took place with youth races in the afternoon and the 10 km competitive race at 6:00 PM. On September 3rd, celebrations for Saint Rocco combined moments of prayer, shows, and folk music in the square; on September 4th, celebrations for Saint Nicola, with mass, procession, final fireworks display, and activities for children, closed the festival. There was no shortage of tastings of typical dishes, first and foremost the famous frascareje seasoned with mutton sauce and pecorino cheese.
