Edition 2025 — Alberona Patronal Feast

From August 28 to 30, 2025, Alberona celebrated its patronal feast in honor of Saints John the Baptist, James and Roch. Three days of devotion and popular celebration enlivened the Monti Dauni village with solemn masses, processions of the three saints' statues through the stone alleys, brass band concerts, folk music, artistic lights, and a fireworks display, alongside food stalls and craft markets.

The 2025 patronal feast

The 2025 edition took place from Thursday, August 28, to Saturday, August 30, in Alberona, in the province of Foggia. The religious heart of the event was marked by solemn masses and processions which, between August 29 and 30, accompanied the statues of Saint John the Baptist, Saint James, and Saint Roch through the streets of the historic center.

Alongside the sacred rites, the secular program featured brass band concerts, folk music performances, the lighting of artistic illuminations, and the traditional fireworks display. There was no shortage of food stalls offering the flavors of the Daunia region and local craft markets, which drew residents, returning emigrants, and visitors to Alberona.
