Edition 2025 — Feast of Saints Costanzo and Vittore
2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Villar San Costanzo spanned several days starting from Friday, September 19, with the patronal Sunday set for September 21 (the third Sunday of the month). The opening evening featured a fresh pasta festival, dance performances, a charity stall, and a dance evening.
As every year, the central moments were the solemn mass with young men in Roman legionary attire and the traditional procession with Roman soldiers, two on horseback and others on foot, escorting the urn containing the saint's relics. There was no shortage of bonfires on the hills, gastronomic evenings with traditional Maira Valley dishes, dancing, and popular games, in a festival that combines devotion, historical memory, and village conviviality.
