Patronal Feast of Saint Vitus

The 2025 festival opened on Saturday, June 14th, with Holy Mass at the Mother Church and the procession of the Sacred Relic of the arm towards the Abbey of San Vito. At 7:00 PM, the sea procession took place aboard a fishing boat from the Port, with the blessing of the vessels in the "Cozze Nere" area and the presentation of the city keys in Piazza dell'Orologio. On Sunday, June 15th, after the historical sea re-enactment, the Bishop's Solemn Mass and the Gala Procession of the Relics were held, with brass band concerts from Rutigliano and Polignano. On Monday, June 16th, the blessing of the animals and the concert by Ladri di Carrozzelle took place in Piazza Aldo Moro, amidst fireworks and the characteristic scenic baroque altar.
