Patronal Feast of Saint Roch

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Roch took place from August 18th to 21st, with the main day on August 20th. On July 31st, the traditional auction for pulling the triumphal float and for the handover of the banner had already been held, awarded to Domenico Santarcangelo as the float's driver. The day of August 20th began at 8 AM with the morning reveille, followed at 9 AM by the laying of the laurel wreath in Piazza del Popolo, and then by the grand procession of the simulacrum through the town's streets, until the return to the Mother Church in the early afternoon. The triumphal float, pulled by seven horses, was welcomed in Piazza Roma to the notes of the triumphal march from Aida. Among the band concerts, the Gran Concerto Bandistico "F. Fenaroli" Città di Lanciano stood out. A novelty for this edition was the artistic illuminations by the Sicilian company "La Lucerna" by Giuseppe Ferrara.
