Edition 2025 — Saint Peter's Feast
The 2025 Patronal Feast of Saint Peter the Apostle in Calascibetta was held on Sunday, August 3rd and Monday, August 4th, 2025, in accordance with the tradition of the first Sunday of August, preceded by the Petrine Week.
The heart of the festival was the procession of the statue of Saint Peter, carried on shoulders through the streets of the historic center among the faithful, confraternities, and sacred music. Alongside the religious celebrations, the secular program featured the Joust in honor of Saint Peter, the Bande in Festa band gathering, and the historic Nougat Festival.
Music, open-air concerts, markets, tastings of typical local products, and the inevitable fireworks completed a festival deeply felt by the 'xibetana' community, in the heart of Sicily.
