Edition 2025 — Saint Peter in Chains

In 2025, Affi also celebrated its patron saint Saint Peter in Chains at the beginning of August, with religious celebrations at the 18th-century parish church and community events that annually bring together the inhabitants of the Veronese municipality around the figure of the saint.

The 2025 patronal feast of Saint Peter in Chains renewed a deeply rooted tradition in Affi, province of Verona. Around the parish church dedicated to the saint, built in 1761, the community gathered for the solemn celebrations on August 1st, dedicated to the town's patron saint. The feast, as is customary in the villages of Verona, intertwined the religious dimension with the popular and social aspect, confirming its role as an identity-building event for the entire community of Affi.
