Patronal Feast of Saint Paternian

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Saint Paternian in Fano confirmed the traditional calendar: the preparatory triduum on July 7th, 8th, and 9th, with an evening mass and sacred music concerts in the Basilica on Piazza Sansovino, and the solemnity of July 10th marked by numerous Eucharistic celebrations.

The solemn mass was presided over by the Bishop of the Diocese of Fano Fossombrone Cagli Pergola, with the participation of city authorities. The procession with the Saint's statue through the streets of the historic center and the civil events most cherished by the people of Fano were not missed, particularly the Tombola of Saint Paternian in Piazza XX Settembre, the charity raffle, and the market set up at the Basilica to support the missions of the Capuchin Friars of the Marche.
