Edition 2025 — Saint Pancras

On May 12, 2025, Castelnovo ne' Monti honored its patron saint, Saint Pancras, according to the tradition that has linked the community of the Reggiano Apennines to the young Roman martyr for generations. The day, a public holiday for the town, culminated in the Solemn Holy Mass celebrated in the Church of the Pieve, preceded by the recitation of the Rosary and particularly dedicated to young people.

The Patron Saint's Feast in 2025

In 2025 as well, Castelnovo ne' Monti celebrated Saint Pancras on May 12th, the date of the saint's martyrdom. As every year, the occasion was experienced as a day of celebration by the entire community of the capital of the Reggiano Apennines, in Emilia-Romagna.

The celebration took place in the Church of the Pieve, with the Holy Rosary and the Solemn Holy Mass in honor of the patron saint. An event that renews each year the bond between faith, local identity, and the memory of the young martyr, protector of youth.
