Patronal Feast of Saint Nicholas and La Badoche of La Thuile

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Nicholas in La Thuile confirmed the centrality of the rite of La Badoche, celebrated on May 9th with the three-pointed staff adorned with the names of the year's newborns. Around the patronal day, the Badouchì and the municipal administration offered the historical walk "At the Origins of La Thuile," dance evenings, Holy Mass, the civic ceremony with awards for the village's young people, and the traditional palet tournament. A festival that annually renews the bond between generations in the Valle d'Aosta village at the foot of Mont Blanc.
