Edition 2025 — Saint Modestus

In 2025, Morrone del Sannio also celebrated Saint Modestus on October 2nd, with solemn masses, the procession through the village streets adorned with luminous arches, the market, and shows in Piazza San Modesto, on a day that brought together the community and emigrants who returned for the occasion.

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Saint Modestus took place as tradition dictates on October 2nd. The community of Morrone del Sannio gathered for the liturgical celebrations and for the procession of the patron saint along the streets of the historic center, illuminated by the typical Molise festival light arches. The market enlivened the village streets, while in the evening, Piazza San Modesto hosted musical performances and rides for the little ones, in an atmosphere of popular celebration that combined devotion and tradition.
