Patronal Feast of Saint Michael the Archangel

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Saint Michael the Archangel renewed in Pomarico one of the most cherished traditions of Basilicata. The solemn processions of the revered image of the Saint crossed the village accompanied by musical bands, while the re-enactment of the Miracle of the Wheat towards Colle di Sisto re-proposed the most evocative and identity-defining moment of the festival. The civil celebrations, with band concerts, fireworks, and evening shows, enlivened Piazza Vittorio Veneto and the historic center, confirming the community's deep bond with its patron saint.
