Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Mary of the Assumption
In 2025, Pignone also celebrated its patron saint, Saint Mary of the Assumption, on Ferragosto, with religious services, a procession through the village streets, and popular festivities that bring together the Val di Vara community each year.
In 2025, the Patronal Feast of Saint Mary of the Assumption renewed the August 15th commemoration in Pignone. Religious services in the parish church, a procession in honor of the Madonna Assunta, and festive moments marked Ferragosto, the most cherished festival of the year for the village in the hinterland of La Spezia.
