Edition 2025 — Magdalene Feast

In July 2025, Artena renewed its patronal feast in honor of Saint Mary Magdalene, with the usual blend of religious celebrations, the July 22nd procession, Live Artena concerts, and open-air cinema events in the historic center. A free and highly attended festival, the heart of the Prenestini village's summer and the occasion from which the Palio delle Contrade also comes to life.

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Mary Magdalene confirmed the central role of the event in the life of the Artena community, in the province of Rome. Around July 22nd, the patron saint's liturgical day, the village experienced religious celebrations and the traditional procession, accompanied by free Live Artena concerts in the historic center and open-air cinema evenings.

As per tradition, the festival was intertwined with the Palio delle Contrade season, which reached its 32nd edition in 2025: a bond that testifies to how devotion to the Magdalene remains, even today, the root of Artena's identity and its summer of events.
