Edition 2025 — Saint Margaret Latiano
From July 19 to 21, 2025, Latiano celebrated its patron saint, Saint Margaret of Antioch, with three days of festivities in the historic center. On Saturday, July 19, at 7:30 PM, the 6th edition of 'The Girl from Antioch' historical pageant, curated by the Gruppo Storico Città di Latiano, departed from Piazza Umberto I: performers in period costumes, flags, and drums paraded through Via Santa Margherita, Via Carducci, Via Garibaldi, Piazza Bartolo Longo, and Via Roma.
That same evening, the 13th edition of the Night Without Shadows came to life, featuring street performers, play areas for children, craft and antique markets between Piazza Umberto I, Via Roma, and the Public Gardens, as well as the evening opening of the Mother Church's Bell Tower and guided museum tours. On Sunday, July 20, the patron saint's day, the square filled up for the 90 Mania concert at 10:00 PM, amidst religious rites, a procession, illuminations, and fireworks. On Monday, July 21, the festival concluded with the second edition of the Messapian Dinner, dedicated to the flavors of local peasant tradition.
