Edition 2025 — Saint Leonard Feast in Mascali
2025 Edition
The Saint Leonard the Abbot Feast 2025 was celebrated in Mascali on November 6th, in the heart of the Metropolitan City of Catania. The festivities, preceded by the novena and the opening of the historic Saint Leonard Fair on November 1st, reached their peak on the day of the feast with the solemn Eucharistic celebration, the procession of the patron saint's statue along the town streets, and the traditional Cantata in Piazza Duomo. Confraternities, the faithful, and the marching band accompanied the saint's fercolo before returning to the Mother Church for the blessing with the sacred relics. A celebration deeply rooted in the Etnean popular tradition, recognized among the intangible heritage of Sicily.
